Urban Design Tutorial

In my quest to learn more illustration techniques, I came upon this neat tutorial explaining how to make urban designs. They look interesting to me, so I'm planning to use the tutorial tomorrow to make my own urban design. :-)

Using Gradients in Inkscape

Here is an excellent basic tutorial from LittleWebHut on using gradients very effectively in Inkscape. Then, after you've mastered the basics of gradients, he has another tutorial that teaches how to make a super shiney "8" ball.
