Cuttingtime Blog

I decided to take it up a notch and dive back into making cuttable SVG files with Inkscape; and in the process, I found (and fell in love with) Carolyn's blog, Cuttingtime.blogspot.com.   She has some of the best Inkscape tutorials I've seen on the net; plus, she has such a lovely voice to listen to.  Go see (and hear) for yourself.  You will be quite impressed.  :)

Update:  Carolyn has ceased posting to her blog and she can now be found at Inkscape Cutting Design.

  1. Hi Cindy, I just come over to say thank you for your concern regarding the floods in my area.
We are one of the fortunate areas that managed to avoid being flooded.
I sure got a surprise with this post and want to thank you so much for the lovely compliment. I look forward to seeing your blog grow and develop.

  2. Hi Carolyn! Thanks for finding my blog! I think you're the first. :)

I started it a couple months ago, but haven't had the courage to "go public" with it because I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to stick with it. Seeing your blog might give me the inspiration I need though. :) I sure hope you never stop making those fabulous tutorials. WOW!

As for the flooding, I guess they say it's similar to our Hurricane Katrina flooding from a few years ago, in that the lower levels of New Orleans got it something awful while other (higher) areas were spared. Natural disasters can be so tragic. :(

I hope it returns to some sense of normalcy there very soon.

Take care and I hope we talk a lot more in the future. I reckon family & age-wise we have a lot in common. ;)

Thanks for posting over here, Carolyn. :D
