Feb 10th Face - Hair is SO Hard to Create!
Argh! Here's the rest of the project that I started yesterday. In case you can't tell, it's supposed to be Portia de Rossi, Ellen's wife. I felt compelled to create a portrait of Portia since I created one of Ellen the other day...and then with the craziness from the One Million Moms haters...it really seemed like the right thing to do. Unfortunately, I didn't do Portia any favors with the hair that I finished today. Who knew hair would be so hard to create?! Oh well, now I know. LOL! This is all I have time for today. I'm going out of town this afternoon, but maybe I'll revisit this one at a future date.

Hi Cindy! This turned out great! So glad you're doing the challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! I'm still planning to do more work on the hair for her, because I feel there's plenty of room to improve it. :) I'm glad I'm doing the challenge, too, because I think it is really helping me to grow as an artist. Thanks for posting the link to at on the GCU forum, otherwise I'd have never heard about it.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome! I can see why it's called a challenge. I'm grateful I'm working small and fast! Love your kitty face for today. Darling!
ReplyDeleteHair can be tricky but you have captured it beautifully!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with the hair!
